Americana Inn

The AC didn’t work well it’s was so so hot the whole evening. Bathrooms that are shared are not that clean, struggled to get towels had to ask house keeping for them myslef

This was probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed at! I stayed in a single room small but not cluttered. Comfy bed very well air conditioned perfect for sleeping. Shared bathroom was spotless and never had to wait because of multiple bathroom on each floor. The staff is extremely polite and professional. Definitely going to return!

I needed a place to stay for a night so it worked. I didn’t like that I could hear the TV through the walls coming from somewhere else. I didn’t sleep well because all I could hear was the TV. In the morning they had a little bit of toast and bagels. Some tea and coffee. For what it was, it served its purpose.

The room was clean and so were the shared bathrooms. Our room did not have air conditioning and this caused us to be downgraded to a room with a single full size bed versus the bunk bed set up originally booked. The second room were were out in also did not have air conditioning so again we were moved to a room with a single full size bed. Overall would not book here again

Each bathroom had about 3 - 4 rooms around it, meaning you share it with those people. Everything was so clean, from the lobby, to the hallway going to the rooms and our room. I really had the best stay here, it was so close to everything. Most places were walkable from the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When we got there we wanted to store our luggage. We were told that we could check in as our room was ready. I just had the best experience there

Great location, comfy rooms. I wish there is a chair in the room, at least a folding chair would be helpful. There are three front desk person, two of them are very kind, another one is a little hard to work with. The bagel in the morning is helpful. Shared bathroom is relatively easy to use and clean. Only busy using it in the morning, other time are all ok.

Clean room and shared bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations.

Room was inexpensive for the location. The bathroom got a bit wet if someone used the shower but you can plan for that. Room was basic but that is all I needed.

Air conditioner worked well

Rooms are super small. Didn’t like how the shower was a shared amenity although we didn’t run into any issues with that. No microwaves or fridges in the rooms; there are communal pantries on each floor…again, also didn’t like. The microwave on my floor did not reopen, trapping my food inside. Had to break it open, destroying the microwave but I told the front desk what happened right away and they didn’t penalize me or anything like that. Access to the fire escape from our room window was pretty cool but we had problems with our room door locking, several times. That was really frustrating. Other than that, continental breakfast was poor (just bagels, mini muffins, and coffee) but the hotel staff was more than hospitable and helpful.
