I booked the Arlo specifically to use their pool as the last stay of my time in New York after a week long intensive study. Unfortunately the last day also called for rain so the pool was shut down, but I was disappointed to see that once the weather cleared the pool deck remained closed. Although I still made the best of my stay (by finding a last minute booking at bathhouse just a minute down the street) it definitely lessened the overall experience of their said amenities. The staff were absolutely fantastic though. Very helpful, friendly and a delicious breakfast was had at Sungold.

Everything you could need from a hotel! Definitely recommend you get a room with a balcony. The pool and water tower were amazing!!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Arlo. Everything was perfect.

Rooftop was amazing

The room itself was lovely, the bathroom was big and there was a tub. The view from the balcony was perfect. I was a bit disappointed because I specifically booked this room to have a day at the pool to celebrate my birthday. There are no pool chairs reserved for hotel guests and if seats sell out you don’t have any option. I thought I could go early in the morning the next day but it was closed for a private event, it was never mentioned by the staff at check in. The neighborhood and location is in a great part of Williamsburg

Good customer service, beautiful room and the view was amazing.

When I asked for a new room, the front desk said that the hotel is sold out and that no rooms were available. Engineer came to the room but could not repair the door. Tonight we do not feel safe using the bathroom. This room should have been pulled out of service per industry protocol. It is a known liability. Whom do I contact to request a room refund and further compensation.

I let the hotel know we just got married right before check in via messaging - I received a message back that we could pay extra for any possible extra amenities for our room but never received a list of those amenities to my email I provided to them and got kind of a half apology about not sending that out maybe 24 hrs after I initially reached out ( we only booked 2 nights). Honestly a note would have been nice acknowledging our marriage as that’s all really expected as a keepsake - but that’s ok . The evening before we left the ac stopped working . It would give us an error screen and just shut off . I did not call reception about it bc it was late and didn’t want to deal with someone coming in the room . I let them know at check out and was satisfied with the apology and response . I think it could be a great stay but there were so many caveats I am uncertain about returning.

Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was helpful, allowing us to park and unload. The AI assistant was the worst!!! Horrible, not helpful. I wanted to extend or inquire about another property.

We loved the vibe, staff, food and drinks!
-
Hotel is nice and staff is friendly, the rooms are just very small for the price.
-
Chic, well appointed room in the heart of Williamsburg! Modern vibes and great rooftop bar.

Super Staff Just incredible thank you for the wonderful stay
-
Other than that, great place to stay.
-
Great place overall and location
-
However, amazing pool and didn’t try food/drinks as ate elsewhere - was ok but could have been better

The biggest advantage of this hotel is the rooftop pool and bar with a nice view. Meanwhile, the rooms are kinda small and the furniture is old for the price you pay for the room. The staff are helpful and nice and the location is good. The restaurant downstairs is great!
