However, the bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired. The toilet wasn’t cleaned properly, and there was a persistent cigarette smell in the bathroom throughout our stay. Thankfully, keeping the bathroom door closed kept the smell from spreading into the bedroom, so we were able to sleep through the night without issue. Since we had only booked for one night, we didn’t request a room change, but the cleanliness should really be addressed for future guests. Overall, the staff and location were great, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to hygiene standards.

We had a very poor experience at the Doubletree on our recent visit. We had a room for four. However, the sleeper couch was the type where you could feel the springs through the mattress. Plus, a wall blocked the couch from opening and when opened blocked the door and became a fire hazard. The air conditioning only cooled one side of the room. And we only had one remote for two televisions. We ended up having to pay for a second room. When the hotel asked me how the stay was going and I gave the feedback, they asked what they could do to make it right, but did nothing to make it right. We asked for another tv remote and did nothing to make get one. We asked to be moved to another room and they did not move us. We asked for them to fix the AC and did not fix it. The second room was nicer but I ended up paying an additional $700 for three nights just to make our stay palatable.

Clean room, friendly staff, comfy room, good position

The room with two beds was expensive and the description said there were "bathroom amenities." I should have asked about accessibility but did not think I would have a toilet that I couldn't use during my stay. There were also no garbage bags in the trash cans which is unsanitary. The location is great for the shows at Radio City and the beds were comfortable, but the TV remote was broken and the window views are close office buildings. I cannot recommend this hotel.

My first night at the hotel, I was assigned to floor 7, where the restaurant is located. There are 3 rooms on this floor, all located in the hallway next to the restaurant kitchen. It was incredibly loud - kitchen noise and staff yelling to each other were non stop. I was told no other rooms were available that night, but they would move me the next day. Once I was moved, the rest of my stay was fine. The staff were all pleasant and it was clear that moving guests from floor 7 is a frequent request.

Front desk staff was great. Helped us with storing our bags and give us directions. Rooms was great too except the towels. Both bath towels were ripped at the seams.

Great staff, great location, excellent value and very private room The bed was a bit small

Great location. Very quietans comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Having to pay for parking. For the cost of staying there parking should be free.

Location was great, bed and pillows were comfortable. We had to ask for new towels even though we left the wet towels on the floor (the shower leaked all over the floor so we used them to clean up) The staff were rude when we asked for towels after arriving back late one evening and wanting to shower. They also didn’t explain that we would need to refill our water bottles each day at the gym, why not just provide guests with bottled water daily? … it’s a small gesture that goes a long way.

The cookies were a nice touch. Very yummy! I think breakfast should have been included. It was hard to go out to find food with seven people in our party.

Location and room were great! The lift was not working for the duration of the trip which was 7 days.

Location was good, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Portly organized concierge, many system errors which impacted our stay, cramped lobby with barely any seating, long lines for check in, no lounge, un engaging staff, leaky shower.

Amazing staff - the team are incredible and so welcoming! The location is also great - can’t get much better. It is affordable, but the elevator situation is so bad and not sufficient to serve the building. We spent so much time waiting for elevators to go downstairs - if you are on a lower floor, you will waste a lot of time. You can’t get in once it reaches your floor. It sounds minor but it’s not. My advice would be to go somewhere with fewer floors, and/or more elevators - especially if you have mobility issues. My elderly relatives had no choice but to wait for the elevator and it really does get ridiculous. If you book, get a very high floor. It may be a little cheaper but it’s not worth the hassle. Also - the hotel will not let you know about major events that impact access. We happened to be in town on a parade day, and the hotel was going to be completely inaccessible to taxis on our checkout day. We were not told about this by the hotel. Instead, we were advised by NYPD outside the building to get out as fast as we could. Because of this, we had no choice but to check out early and cut our trip short. When I asked for some kind of compensation, the hotel flat-out refused. We lost a day in the city, and they were not willing to make it right.
