The location was one of our favorite things about it. It was close to the subway, which made getting around the city easier, but we were also within walking distance of many of the attractions we wanted to see. We also felt very safe in the area, even when walking around in the evening. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful and answering any questions that we had. Room was small, but that was to be expected being in New York City

Perfect location in Midtown. Terrace restaurant was a nice surprise.

The location was fantastic for what we needed. As we were attending an event at radio city musical, and it is right across the street. Not too much to complain about the lobby is very small. So if a lot of people are checking in, it is very, very crowded.

My second stay at the DoubleTree Midtown Fifth Avenue confirmed why I chose to return. My request for a Queen Room on a high floor with a city view was kindly accommodated with a complimentary upgrade. The room was comfortable, the view was great, and the location remains hard to beat. What really sets this hotel apart is the team. Tamia is exceptional — genuinely caring and thoughtful, and she went above and beyond to make my stay special. Jaziah gave me another wonderfully warm welcome and was consistently attentive throughout my stay. Denise, Rosalyn and manager Cisse were equally caring and efficient, and every request was handled promptly. Mohamed on the night shift was always upbeat, helpful and professional. Even when the lobby was busy, I was warmly greeted whenever I came and went. Duomo remains a lovely spot and the seafood risotto is still a favorite. The service could be warmer overall, although Rolland continues to stand out for his hospitality. After two 10-night stays, the DoubleTree Midtown Fifth Avenue has become my first choice in Midtown. The location is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable, but it is the people who make me want to return.
