The staff at the Henry Norman were very friendly and helpful! They provided local neighborhood recommendations for lunch and shopping. They even provided a stash of plates and utensils when our Door Dash order arrived without any. The room was very comfortable and quite large for something in Brooklyn. The bed was comfortable, and the shower/bath had plenty of room as well. As a taller person, I also appreciated the taller rain shower head! The hotel itself is in close walking distance to shops, coffee, restaurants, and only about 30 minutes or less from LGA. Overall, the slightly higher price point was worth it and I would definitely stay here again!

We like this hotel for the close proximity to our daughter's home when we visit her. We have stayed here before and it is very convenient for us. When we checked in we were given the option of several rooms, but the front desk staff couldn't give us much insight on the differences between the rooms. We selected a room on the first floor which was super small and not ideal for us. They told us the lower level rooms may be slightly larger, however when we moved to one of those rooms it was probably 2.5 times larger! It was a much better room, however being partially below grade it was dark, but we were glad to have moved! Our stay was uneventful and the staff were friendly whenever we went through the lobby.

The staff was nice and the design was good. Everything else feels like a big scam here. Its not a 4 star hotel for sure. The price doesn't match what you get. AT ALL! They repeatedly asked me to pay for the breakfast which was included in my rate. Speaking about this breakfast...calling it that is ridiculous. There was no juice no coffee and barely food. Dry white bread,tap water and 2 spreads were left at 10am while the breakfast is supposed to go til 10:30. And all this is supposed to cost 19$?? The room. It was ok. Not bad not great. But whats horrible is the ac. Its either horribly loud and works. Or it's off and it gets very warm very quick. I arrived from a 12 hour flight a basically felt like I'm on a plane again. Put my earplugs back in to be able to sleep. Don't get me wrong,I'm very used to noise and can easily sleep. But if you charge me almost 400$ for a night,you might be able to repair an account from time to time. Also, asking 75$ for a late checkout one hour over the normal check out time is just very rude. The so called rooftop is also a joke. Whoever says there is good views never was an a real rooftop before. Altogether I would not recommend to stay here. It was not a bad experience at all,but at that price you should get a good experience and leave well rested.

Loved our suite. It’s just unfortunate there is no bar in the hotel.

There was not 1 thing we didn't like about our stay. Everything was great...from the friendly faces welcoming us at check-in to the morning coffee before check-out! We would stay here again for sure!
