Overall nice hotel in a central localized area of the city. The only issues I had was that the elevator took a long time to wok and there was one time where my family and I had to go down 25 flights ot

On the third night, there was a fire, and I had to walk down 17 flights again. Upon check-out, they said we wouldn't be charged for the night of the fire. We shouldn't be charged for ANY night if we couldn't use the elevator to get down 17 flights. Dirty laundry. Cleaning staff carts and vacuums left in the hallways 24/7. The room refrigerator didn't work; the coffee was horrible. Soaps, towels, and shampoos were very good. The front desk had a very polite hostess who did her best to represent a Hilton standard that the facility clearly doesn't. Yes, it is in the midst of renovations and construction; if that is interfering with guest accommodations, the Hotel should NOT be open for guests. The elevator problem clearly had nothing to do with the construction; it was the cleaning and maintenance staff holding it on the floors they wanted with a control panel key.

Elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs (13 flights). Staff took 30 minutes to help two customers — maybe it was the customers fault but still. Don’t expect good service

Great place. Nice staff.

One person staffed overnight was overloaded with complaints. Total mess and will never stay again.

This hotel room was very clean! We really appreciated that. The staff were amicable. The hotel room was advertised as having “city views,” but more accurately, it should have been described as a “street view.” If you crane your neck, you could see down the street towards the city. Looking directly out of the window was the street below and the apartment building across the street. The room is very small, but the bed was comfortable. The water pressure was poor to medium. The absolute worst part of this hotel was the elevator. There are only 2 and half the time, one of them was out of service. They ran incredibly slowly and are also very small, holding very few people. One morning, we literally waited a half hour for an elevator — we were on the 10th floor. The wait was even longer when there were larger groups trying to get to their room at the same time and/or when service staff were traveling between floors with their carts. There apparently was not a service elevator either.

its not a bad hotel, worst part of the experience were the elevators breaking down every day. you had a choice, climb up and down 20+ flights depending on where your room is- or wait 30 minutes to go up one floor at a time with 50 other guests trying to get off and on.

While the room itself was clean and comfortable, the service and management were extremely disappointing. At check-in, I had paid for early check-in. The front desk employee confirmed she could see it and said she needed to speak with the manager standing beside her. I was told it would take 10–15 minutes. After waiting 35 minutes, I was finally told they couldn’t find the payment and that I would have to pay extra. I had no problem paying, but why leave me waiting instead of simply explaining the situation? I was staying in New York for a difficult surgery and was recovering afterward. I was on the 13th floor and needed ice, but had to go to the 18th floor. The elevators were frequently out of service, with waits averaging around 10 minutes. After surgery, I ultimately had to take the stairs. At approximately 12:30 a.m., the fire alarm went off. The elevators were shut down, and the phone in my room didn’t work. Once again, I had to walk down 13 flights of stairs after surgery. I later learned it was caused by a kitchen short circuit and overheard firefighters discussing how the night staff were not properly trained and didn’t know where critical building diagrams were located. To make matters worse, the hotel had to change the room locks while I was trying to rest and recover. The room and base price were fine, but the poor communication, extra charges, elevator problems, fire alarm incident, and lack of preparedness completely overshadowe

Apparently the hotel was under renovations, which meant that hotel keys were not working for elevators or rooms consistently, the elevator was down repeatedly, and the fire alarm was triggered at 12:45am. This caused the entire hotel to evacuate for an hour while fire dept ensured our safety. The hotel staff never once addressed patrons, offered water, or any reassurance of the nature of the incident, safety, or appreciation for customer patience and patronage. This was unacceptable, especially as I had just disembarked from a plane where we sat for 7.5 hours only for the flight to be cancelled. The rooms were not very clean, amenities like electronic shades did not work. I was very dissatisfied.

Very good and quite place .

The location is very convenient and is closed by the subway station. The checkin was a bit chaotic as they didn't have rooms ready for many customers by 3pm. But staff was helpful.
