Room was a good size , esp for Manhattan hotel ( they upgraded me , as a surprise, which was nice). Good location. Furniture seemed old & dated. Clean.

From the moment we arrived until the time we left each hotel rep was kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and the location is perfect. We most certainly WILL return

It was lovely! Very nice staff, excellent location and clean and comfortable room.

The bathtub was slippery and the tap was tight. I slipped and fell when trying to fix the tap and cracked a rib. The hotel just sent a bath tub mat but offered no compensation for the medical treatment i underwent in urgebnt care. They offered to fix the tap and probably fixed it.

We’ve had our share of iffy experiences with NYC boutique hotels but it was World Cuo and rates were all over the map. The San Carlos looked the best of a lot of unknowns. It was a very pleasant surprise. It was convenient to all the things we needed and wanted to do. The room was well appointed and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Great hotel with helpfully staff and clean rooms. Great location within walking distance to Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City Music Times Square, Grand Central Station, and Broadway. About 1/2 to 1 mile. Near many restaurants and several subway stations. Great value.

Special thanks to Evelyn, Krystal, Victor, Michael and everybody else for making our stay a memorable one. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. Close by our convenience stores and lots of restaurants. The subway is just around the corner. We’ll definitely book this hotel again next time we’re in the Big Apple.
