San Carlos Hotel

Location is pretty good , surrounded by restaurants and groceries. It is New Your’. 2 subway lines working 2-3 blocks. Aldo very walkable and felt safe. Facilities are very good. We had a 2 Queen room , spacious, a microwave , mini fridge and even utensils and bowls. Clean . Appears a little run down and tired as a property.

Great hotel, staff was incredible friendly, room was big and spacious. All was spotless, also quite which is rare in NYC! Very easy to get around and to travel from/to airports.

Excellent location, helpful staff, spacious room for the money. The sofa bed is not the most comfortable. The bathroom is an en-suite, so if you have people sleeping on the sofa bed and the main bedroom, access to the bathroom can be difficult. It was also a bit loud at night.

It is a very comfortable hotel in a great location. rooms were very big and were a great solution to our four members family will definitely stay again. The facilities are a bit old dated and it looks like the hotel needs some renovation. Even so it was clean and well maintained.

The staff were very helpful and friendly The hotel was in an excellent location . My room was very large .

Great position, staff very welcoming. Looking a bit tired in places. Carpet a bit worn and bedroom furniture a bit old fashioned.

Everything was amazing. Front desk staff super friendly, location couldn’t be better, nice bedroom equipped with coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, glasses, mugs, dishes, etc. We requested a crib and it was nice, clean, with a sheet and blanket. Super clean, which is the most important aspect personally. Curtains can use an update.

The staff was incredible - friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was palatially big for Manhattan and the bed was comfortable and clean. Location is great - within a couple of blocks of several subway lines. I would stay here again. The place is a bit outdated and most of the big room was underutilized, but the price point is excellent for this area so no complaints. Just don’t expect modern or newly refurbished. Doors closing in hallway were loud, but it didn’t wake me at all.

IT WAS CLEAN AND COZY! The staff was very helpful and friendly- They hailed a cab for us out front and they had umbrellas near the door for their guests dueing the noreaster to use with parking for our vehible 3 blocks away. GOOD LOCATION. WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN! Thank you,! NYC was amazing!

Older hotel but very well- maintained with a very helpful & courteous staff. The room was larger than expected and bathroom had everything I needed. Very convenient to Rockefeller Center, Lincoln Center, and Times Square. Walkable neighborhood. Good business center in 2nd floor. No complaints.

Great, nice people and clean rooms. We had a small problem with the elevator, but they fix it right away
