Everything was perfect

Great location, functional room and bathroom, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast included in the Brasserie Cognac Strange hotel entrance with no doorman, a somewhat utilitarian lobby, loud air-conditioning system, relatively cheaply appointed room, 1-2 plug points did not work.

Brady Rosario was equally great providing adequate notice to update my payment method and was super responsive. Hotel 48LEX is a beautiful boutique hotel, clean, spacious rooms, great customer service from team members, and the restaurant Cognac offers great breakfast, lunch, and dinner options!

Room was larger than ‘normal’ for NYC and very comfortable bed. It was also quiet and restful. Felt comfortable and secure. Helpful staff. Our fridge leaked on the floor, it just needed to be defrosted. And as one of the lifts (elevators) was not in use, sometimes the wait was rather lengthy. But this was rectified after a day.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good bar & food in Cognac adjacent. Great corner room & windows. Spacious suite. Coffee machine & kettle. Air con not cold enough, never went below 70/69, sometimes stuck at a stifling 74/75

Our room was pleasantly spacious for New York, but unfortunately the air conditioning did not work well. We were told it operates on an environmental sensor that requires movement, which meant the room became too warm at night and made it difficult to sleep, despite the comfortable, firm bed. Additionally, one of the elevators was out of service for the entire weekend, leaving only one operational, which caused delays.

A very nice and clean hotel in a good location that served our purpose as we were in town for the US Open. Unfortunately, our room was on the 3rd floor which is where the double queen salon rooms are located. It was incredibly noisy. We heard construction, cars and sirens all night and could hear the subway train rolling through as well. I wish someone had alerted us about this being the case. We stayed for 3 nights and kept having to call each day for extra shower towels. I would have thought that they would have known to put 4 towels in the room after we called the first time and since there were 4 of us there. But we kept having to call. Also, the beds seemed smaller than queen beds…more like full sized. Overall it was a nicely located hotel that was clean and convenient.

Elevators were down for a day and the AC in the room would automatically stop in the middle of the night and it was extremely humid. It was fine, just not worth the price we paid

Location It was dated and room not like photos. Also the food credit only for sit down breakfast
