I had a very comfortable 10 night stay & I slept well, though I don’t think my room was one of the newly renovated ones. Going by the photos my room, on the 2nd floor, was tight on space, especially at the end of the bed where the desk is. I’d booked the room 6 months in advance & my view was adjacent buildings, which was a bit of a shame. The room was very clean with fresh bedding & towels. The bathroom had a wonderful shower that was very much needed after a long day of travelling, The AC in the room worked well & kept a nice cool temperature especially when the days were very hot. This was my first time in New York & the hotel is a few minutes from the train station, Williamsburg Bridge, Essex Market & lots of places to eat. I’d stay here again if I could get one of the renovated rooms that are shown on the website.

My friends and I needed a good affordable place to stay in NYC, this hotel was great! The rooms were nice, the restrooms a little outdated. There were goodplaces to eat and also night bars!

Very close to the F and J subways routes you can travel from the Kennedy Airport in easy way and then move to the Yankee Stadium, Broadway/Time Squares and Coney Island relative fast. Excellent location to use the subway.

The rooms were quiet and clean every day. Front desk staff in the evening is very friendly and attentive. Not the typical breakfast from most hotels but it was good options of breakfast. Hot coffee, water and tea all day in the lobby is a plus! We had an issue with our safe at first due to batteries but the staff quickly resolved the issue. We felt safe in the area and had a subway stop very very close. We would def stay here again!

Hotel had disruptive guests and noise in the hallways late at night

The air conditioner was blowing on me and I asked the front desk if the could have the maintenance team install a diverter to blow the air up instead of on me at night. It was taken care of quickly. Will stay here again.

The staff goes out of its way to help travelers, and helped us several times on our trip. The property is in a good, busy, safe neighborhood with quick access to the subway and tons of restaurants nearby.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Their only amenity is a water fountain with lukewarm water. The rooms are tiny and to make it worse they have giant desks with no chair taking up 1/4 of the space. Hairs on the bedding, soap dots all over the bathroom counter, paint chipping off in all corners of the room, etc. Water pressure was good. Staff was unengaged.

Location was great. Bed was comfortable. The place needs updating. It is worn and there was construction next door. The lobby is shabby and the lobby furniture looks like it belongs in a thrift store. They do not care what the place looks like. Sometimes there was only one person at the desk, so it took a long time to get help.

Great location in the middle of the lower east side. Surrounded by restaurants and bars and the subway system. Friendly staff and a larger room than I have experienced at the price range in NYC.

Staff was very helpful, and room was clean. Close to restaurants and a Burger King and Wing Stop

A/C worked after engineer visited.

This hotel was well located and egg to check in and out. The staff was kind and helpful.
