Love the vibe of this hotel. Staff was great. Like the renovations they’ve made. They upgraded us to a larger room. Good location.
-
The room was small and sparse, but it did have a closet with a sufficient number of hangers to hang clothes. I wish there was a luggage rack, so my suitcase could be off the ground. The location is very close to the subway ( Line 1) and many eateries are close to the hotel. The bakery place next door to redeem breakfast vouchers was just ok and a bit overpriced.

Wonderful hotel, charming with amazing French bakery, great location, meticulously clean room

Beautiful historic building. Very clean. The staff was helpful. The bar was nice. Only downside is there is no restauarant or breakfast or even coffee available in the hotel (there is a nice Cafe next door that you get a $10 voucher for but not ideal for early morning take off).
-
The only on who might not like it is the person who has to have a cup of coffee before leaving the hotel room - no cups or coffee maker in the room

The entire staff at Belleclaire was extremely accommodating during our stay. We asked to be moved from our original room for various reasons, and, immediately took action to our satisfaction. Lovely people and hotel.

I really wanted to love this place. It’s in a great location. I love the architecture. The decor is nice and the staff are helpful. We had 2 different rooms and 3 visits from maintenance. The room temperature at night was not below 78F. It’s a known issue. They have lots of box fans. The value is very poor. It’s too expensive a place to sweat in your room.

Loved the vouchers to the delicious authentic French bakery! Staff were super helpful and the room was like staying in a quest room of an old friend’s house. Location is great for a quieter sleep with quick access to all NYC offers.
-
Staff is superb and very helpful. The coffee shop off the lobby is great!
-
Breakfast vouchers for the cafe downstairs was a good touch (delicious) and the gym facilities were great.
-
The lobby staff were exceptionally kind and the room was spacious and clean! Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and overall great service! Shoutout to Mark at the door for helping me once my stay was over!!

Small rooms, no restaurant on property,. Overall nice Hotel.

The Hotel Belleclaire was a charming place to spend a week in New York City. It has all the charm and beauty of a historical hotel opened in 1903. They also give you a $10 voucher for food at the adjoining cafe for each day. The room I had was large and beautiful with views of both Broadway and 77th st. The staff was helpful friendly.
-
Questioned me if I really had a booked room Once in the room , the floor especially was very dirty. Because of the interaction I didn’t want to go back down and was looking for options around and was even willing to forgo the 4 night pay. The next day the cleaning crew did a good job and I just stayed but would never go back. The room is tiny and for the price and front desk!
-
Excellent pastries & coffee, expensive so 2 coupons a day was needed. U had to get there before 12:00 or no choices left. Bathroom very tiny no where for toiletries or do makeup. Noise level from door slamming & people above was loud!!

Great bar!
-
Excellent neighborhood location with public transportation to east side museums and Broadway. Safe and neighborly. No clock, non working phone, I loved the French bakery and complimentary breaffasts
-
Perfectly located near the Beacon Theatre. Walking distance from about of local shops and the staff were very friendly! Everything was great but the bathroom was tight fitted (it’s New York so I understand)

Our first time staying at the Belleclaire was very pleasant. The rooms had sound insulation, and you couldn't hear the street noise. Room size was larger than most NY hotels and the staff was really quite amazing and accommodating. The coffee cafe downstairs was fantastic -- really good quality coffee and the breakfast pastries and lunch items were very high quality.

Great croissant breakfast at hotel cafe. Great uptown location, easy access to subway
