La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New York City Central Park

Location on the upper west side is great and the place is inexpensive relative to most ny hotels but... hmm, ew.

This hotel needs to be condemned! Everything about is was filthy and disgusting.

The most concerning part of the hotel was the lack of a secondary safety latch for my door: both were broken. Although the room was small, it was serviceable. The bed, pillows & linens were comfortable. The toilet paper holder was useless, coming out of the wall. The tub was stained so I did not shower. The towels were paper thin. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was so-so. The location was good, and because of that, I would give it a second try.

Disappointing

Do not stay at this hotel. It has bed bugs and is very dirty. The staff are completely oblivious. We had to leave and get another hotel due to the bugs and unclean conditions. Also several doors have been broken into - even though this is a safe area, I question how safe this hotel is.

The hotel is very dirty: hallways, rooms, carpet. Furniture is very outdated and broken. Walls are in need of repair. Bedding had some weird looking clumps of black dust.

Excellant Location, budget hotel, very clean and staff friendly and very helpful. Would have liked a better view.

Holes in the wall where other items used to be. Breakfast not worth eating, but liked the coffee and tea. Didnt clean up daily unless requested everyday. Staff very helpful.

Light bulbs were missing from the room, ended up getting bit by what looks like bed bugs. Staff was friendly but I wouldn’t recommend due to the bug bites.

This was one of the worst hotels that we have stayed at in New York, This place is poorly renovated. The rooms are very dark and dingy. There is no parking space set aside outside the hotel for guests to drop off their bags. La Quinta has some nerve charging over $400 for a one-night stay at this place.

Very clean rooms, a bit dated. The stuff was very helpful. And fantastic location !

the neighborhood was really good and the staff were also good people. the hotel is a little old and run down and the tvs are so old.
