Romana Hotel - NYC

My room was in the floor 11 with a massive balcony and the view to midtown manhattan was excellent from the balcony. Room was good and clean with no noise at all Hard to tell because I did enjoyed my stay there

This place is not for families, you can hear everything from next door , there is door inside room that can open to another room , that was strange, bed was full of hair everywhere ,Chinese reception guy was rude , he was glued to chair and busy into his phone even can't standup to give keys , it seems someone stay here and they gave us room without cleaning . Low price and no hopes . I can pay bit more to find better place .

Clean and convenient. I got a room that was meant for large families. So the adjacent room leaked all their noise and fumes and kept me up. It didn’t feel private.

The room was well arranged and clean, especially the bathroom. Room TV has a very limited selection of channels though. Very good heating system (it was a chilly night in NYC).

Never staying at this hotel again. I didn’t expect much out of a budget hotel but this was awful. If I could rate this hotel 0 stars I would. The sheets underneath the covers of the bed were dirty. The toilet paper was wet when I got there. The bathroom was the size of a closet so the sink was small and overflowed easy. The shower curtain didn’t seem to provide much defense against the floor getting wet either. There also wasn’t a clock in the room which I found odd. At least I had my phone and laptop to tell time. The only thing positive I can say about this hotel is that the staff was friendly and helpful.

I like that they kept the hotel clean. It was always someone cleaning. It was close to the trains. The staff was not very helpful when I informed them of issues with my room. I had to change rooms because the door was not securely closed, they had no phones un the room, so when ever their was a issues you had to travel downstairs to the front desk. They had coffee but no cups for coffee.
