The Westin New York Grand Central

Perfectly located, spacious and clean rooms. This will always be my go-to hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

Very nice upscale hotel that is really well located in NYC… one block from Grand Central Station and within easy walking distance of Rockefeller Center.

Only negative this time was the condition of the bathroom. Still very clean but unfortunately needed some maintenance or refurbishment. Bath enamel heavily degraded, some sort of electrical damage to the lighted mirror. A little disappointing for a 4 star property like the Westin.

Hotel is overpriced. Double beds are standard and small. Extra charges were not justified and is a strategy many top hotels use to give the appearance that there nightly fees are competitive.

It’s close to a lot of sights. We were able to walk to a lot of places and felt safe!

Great stay

The staff were amazing! I ate at the restaurant everyday. I met Neville the Director of outlets and he was so welcoming and hospitable. 10/10 recommend!

All staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean, but could use an update- wallpaper pealing at the seam for example. I would stay here again!

The welcome was warm and genuine, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff we encountered was professional, friendly, and eager to help. What truly set this hotel apart were the thoughtful touches that made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Being greeted with complimentary mimosas and delicate macarons was such a lovely surprise and immediately made our stay feel special. The hotel’s location is excellent, the rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. But more than the amenities, it was the people who made the difference. Every interaction reflected a commitment to outstanding hospitality. Thank you to the entire Westin Grand Central team for making our New York City visit so memorable. We left feeling appreciated and well cared for, and we look forward to staying with you again on our next trip.

The hotel is very convenient located, spacious rooms, tight beds though and clean!

Room size is not too bad considering price/location. A high floor is a good idea but the lifts can be delayed at peak times. Staff were really nice . The room smelt very musty and they tried to fix it by deep cleaning the bathroom . The gym is excellent.

Front staff was not pleasant or welcoming at all. Very rude and not willing to answer questions. Put us in an accessible room for some odd reason, we did not ask for that? Room had poor ventilation, bathroom was old, outdated, and not clean. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

Great location but lots of challenges with this hotel. Awful checkin, very busy lobby but no real place to sit and hang out (which we wanted to do since we were a large group), and it takes so long to go up and down owing to too few elevators.

Then to top it off, my son left his wallet behind one day with 40 bucks and they disappeared when we came back. Don't recommend this place and won't be returning

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Two minor issues. The room safe was not working, but was promptly repaired and there was no luggage rack.
