Westgate New York Grand Central

Hotel was very nice. We got a king suite room. Had a separate room with a pull out leather sofa which was very nice. And then a separate bedroom with bathroom. Bathroom and shower were very big and clean and had a bidae (sp?) The room had a total of 5 windows with great views Our only complain was that we stayed in room 1915 which was right next to the elevators and they were quite loud while we tried to sleep. It is an old renovated hotel so the elevator is old but clean and it makes noise. . I would stay here again..just not near the elevator lol

The location is amazing! You’re walking distance from major New York City landmarks (Time Square, Chrystler Building, Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, New York Library, etc). The staff were amazing and super helpful. The room was a good size and clean. I would return 100%!

Depending where your room is, you will hear the elevators creek and moan throughout the evening.

This is my second time staying at this Westgate hotel and I’ll stay here again next time I come to NYC. Ideal location to many attractions. Everything is within walking distance. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Everything in the hotel is spotless.

Love this hotel! This was my 4th time staying there. I booked a balcony room that overlooked the water. Staff are the best!! Kevin and Christina both remembered what I had planned and asked about my day. Being there is like being at home.

Staff were very welcoming.

The room was disappointing. The bed was slanted, so we had to sleep with our heads at the foot of the bed just to be comfortable. The bathtub also had visible rust, which made the bathroom feel unclean. Unfortunately, these issues took away from our overall stay.

At check-in, we were charged a $45 resort fee without any explanation of what it included. When we asked the front desk for more information, they weren’t very helpful. On the positive side, the location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of Times Square and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the city.

good location and decent room. My only gripe was the "resort fee" that was tacked on. I didn't see a pool or tiki bar so not sure what this fee was for.

Nice clean large room. Looks dated. Not the best location.

My stay was not enjoyable. Problems with the elevators created noise like the air brakes on a garbage truck. This went on for 2 days, from 6 AM until 11 PM.

Perfect location to everything. The staff was helpful. The room was a decent size for 4 women. I would definently recommend and stay at this hotel again.

Excellent world class service! A central location to everything and attentive staff. Loved this hotel!

Hotel overall was good. Room was clean. However, Expedia nightly rate did not notify us about $41 resort fee. We thought we prepaid everything. Also, the room walls were thin, we could hear people talking next room till midnight.
