Duty of Care for Business Travelers

Last updated September 1, 2026

At a glance

Duty of Care shows where travelers are booked to be on the Safety page and sends opt-in risk alerts powered by International SOS.

How it works

After activation, the Safety page in Trips shows active and upcoming Engine-booked itineraries, traveler contacts, destinations, and safety-flagged bookings. Admins filter by severity, traveler, or location. The risk feed comes from International SOS and covers weather, political unrest, transit disruption, and emergencies, with push, email, and in-product notifications available on an opt-in basis.

Who it is for and how to use it

It is for travel managers, operations teams, and admins who need a booking-based view of where work travelers are expected to be. Activate the capability, choose alert channels and severity levels, and keep traveler contact information current. During an event, filter affected itineraries and follow your company’s safety procedures with booking and contact context in front of you.
