Same order as the list above: ranked by a hotel's total event space across all its meeting rooms. The largest single room is shown here, so that column can run out of order. Space figures come from each hotel's meeting-space records. A dash means the hotel's data doesn't list that detail, not that it's unavailable.

Frequently asked questions
How does Engine help when I'm planning a large meeting in Ann Arbor?
Engine supports both parts of your event. For the guest rooms, if you need 9 or more you'll work with Engine Groups to handle the block; 8 or fewer you can book self-serve. For the meeting or event space itself, you can search and request venues through Engine Spaces, which gives you access to thousands of options to find what fits your agenda.
How does billing work if I'm booking rooms for a multi-day conference?
Engine offers consolidated invoicing, so you're not chasing separate receipts for each attendee. You'll have multiple payment options and there's no membership fee. That simplifies expense reporting and keeps your finance team happy.
What amenities can conference attendees expect at these hotels?
Most properties offer parking, wifi, and on-site dining, though specifics vary by hotel. The Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel has 197 guest rooms and 15 event spaces, while The Kensington Hotel offers 200 rooms and 13 spaces. Check each property's listing on Engine to confirm what's included.
What's the process for reserving a block of guest rooms for my team?
If you need 9 or more rooms, Engine Groups will coordinate the block for you. For 8 rooms or fewer, you can book directly through the platform yourself. Either way, you'll get pre-negotiated rates and consolidated billing.
How do out-of-town attendees get to Ann Arbor for an event?
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport serves Ann Arbor and is about 25 miles east of the city. Ground transportation or a rental car gets attendees to their hotel. The Residence Inn Ann Arbor Downtown, for example, has 110 guest rooms and its largest event space runs about 22,000 square feet, so you can keep lodging and sessions in one spot.
