Same order as the list above: ranked by event space, with a tilt toward hotels that list wedding services, a reception hall, or banquet space. Space and amenity details come from each hotel's own records. A dash means the hotel's data doesn't list that detail, not that it's unavailable.

Frequently asked questions

What amenities can wedding guests expect at these Ohio hotels?
Most properties on this list offer parking, wifi, on-site dining, and fitness centers, though amenities vary by hotel. Some locations provide airport shuttles or are near the airport serving their city. Check each hotel's listing on Engine to confirm what's available before booking your block of rooms.
How does Engine help with both guest rooms and reception space for a wedding in Ohio?
For a block of 9 or more guest rooms, Engine Groups handles the booking. For 8 or fewer rooms, you can book self-serve. The hotel's event and reception space can be searched and booked through Engine Spaces, Engine's free marketplace of hotel meeting and event spaces across the U.S. and Canada, or you can arrange it with the property directly.
How far in advance should I reserve a hotel room block for my wedding?
Most couples reserve a block six to twelve months before the wedding date, especially for peak summer and fall weekends. Popular properties with large event capacity, like the Holiday Inn Wilmington or Hotel Cleveland, may book even earlier. Reach out as soon as you've chosen your venue and date to secure availability for out-of-town guests.
What should I compare when choosing a hotel for wedding guests across different Ohio cities?
Start with location relative to your ceremony or reception venue, then compare guest-room counts, parking availability, and nearby dining or attractions for guests arriving early or staying after your big day. If your reception is at the hotel itself, compare event-space square footage and capacity. Engine lets you search, compare, and book these hotels side by side to make the decision easier.
What makes a hotel a good fit for hosting a wedding?
Look for ample reception and banquet space, enough guest rooms to house your party and out-of-town guests under one roof, and facilities like getting-ready suites or bridal rooms. The hotels on this list range from Holiday Inn Wilmington, with about 60,000 square feet in its largest ballroom and capacity for up to 6,660 people, to Hotel Cleveland and Hilton Cleveland Downtown, each offering multiple event spaces and hundreds of guest rooms. Booking both the space and the rooms in one place simplifies logistics for your celebration.
