Same order as the list above: ranked by a hotel's total event space across all its meeting rooms. The largest single room is shown here, so that column can run out of order. Space figures come from each hotel's meeting-space records. A dash means the hotel's data doesn't list that detail, not that it's unavailable.

Frequently asked questions

What should I compare when choosing a conference hotel in Hawaii?

Start with the largest event space and total number of meeting rooms each property offers. The Grand Wailea in Wailea and The Westin Maui in Lahaina each feature a largest space of about 27,000 square feet, while The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on the Big Island offers a largest ballroom of about 8,400 square feet and 22 event spaces. Also consider guest-room count, proximity to the airport serving the island you're visiting, and whether attendees will need easy access to multiple meeting areas throughout the day.

How do I book a block of guest rooms for conference attendees in Hawaii?

For a stay of 9 or more guest rooms, Engine Groups handles the room-block booking for you. If you need 8 rooms or fewer, you can book self-serve directly through Engine. Both options give you access to pre-negotiated rates, consolidated invoicing, and multiple payment options with no membership fee.

Can Engine help with both the hotel rooms and the meeting space for my event?

Yes. For guest rooms, Engine Groups manages blocks of 9 or more rooms, and you can book 8 or fewer self-serve. For the meeting or event space itself, you can find and request venues through Engine Spaces, Engine's meeting-and-event product with access to thousands of venues. That means one platform covers both sides of your conference planning.

How far in advance should I book rooms for a large meeting in Hawaii?

For a conference or corporate event, book as early as possible, ideally several months out. Popular properties like the Grand Wailea with 830 guest rooms or The Westin Maui with 770 rooms can fill quickly during peak seasons. Early booking also gives you more flexibility to coordinate your room block with the availability of meeting space.

What amenities can conference travelers expect at these hotels?

Most conference hotels offer on-site parking, wifi, and dining options, though specifics vary by property. The hotels on this list range from 249 to 830 guest rooms and include multiple event spaces, so many also provide business centers and flexible catering. Check individual property details on Engine to confirm which amenities matter most for your group.

Why don't you show rates for these hotels?

Hotels give Engine rates they only allow us to show business travelers, so a public page cannot list them. Create a free account with your work email to see them.

Is Engine free?

Yes. An Engine account is 100% free and without commitment, and you can leave anytime. Sign up with your work email.
